Brenda Engelhardt is a retired litigation paralegal and educator. She has lived in St. Charles for 27 years with her husband Tom. Together they raised 2 children, 5 dogs and a cat. ​

From decades of teaching, leading educators and working with families, Brenda has developed extraordinary communication skills. She truly listens to what others are saying, and works to understand the real needs behind the dialogue.

She communicates from a place of facts and fairness, and enjoys engaging with people of all political affiliations. Brenda values every point of view.

This deep respect for others is the way Brenda builds healthy relationships.

Quite simply, she works with others to understand problems and build practical solutions that serve all parties.

Brenda is running because she sees a real need to open lines of communication between D14 constituents and the County Board and make their voices heard.
